Pizza, Pincushions and Playing It Straight (Paperback edition)

Rayne's perspective, sense of humor, and frank storytelling combine in a hilarious, informative, and superbly poignant set of real life stories. Every page had a delight waiting - I laughed, I cried, I empathized, and I am so glad I am reading this book. It's great for pure entertainment and for dismantling one's bias against sex work!

I learned so much about healthy attitudes to sex and consent, all of which apply to any sexual relationship, as well as new insight into the world of sex workers. And it's charming, well written, often funny, and always relatable even though I have no personal connection to the profession. If you are sexually active, used to be, would like to be, or know someone who is, you will get something positive out of this book.

This book is amazing. I’ve laughed out loud, inspected my internalized biases, and become smitten with the authors authenticity.

The book is worth purchasing for the vast index of reference material alone.

I bought this when it was first released and only able to read it recently.
I am kicking myself for not reading it sooner. Being book dragon has its downsides.

Ill be buying a copy for my kids as they reach a maturity to understand this.
I wish I had something like this to teach me about enthusiastic consent and that no is a full sentence.
